I’m a software engineer and programmer (since 1998) with deep experience in Linux and Unix-like systems, large-scale services, and performance-oriented engineering. I work across low-level systems programming, web services, and distributed platforms.
I served first in the Army as a tank mechanic and later in the Navy, where I worked as a Tomahawk Weapons Systems Operator. My role involved Unix-based command-and-control systems and satellite communications in operational environments.
Proud member of the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) — an organization dedicated to serving blinded American veterans.
I’ve worked with and for organizations including Cisco Systems (multiple engagements), Charles Schwab, SAIC, PayPal, eBay, and FICO. I’ve also built high-scale gaming and backend systems capable of supporting very large user populations.
I founded an open-source Delphi-like IDE project in 1998 (Lazarus / Free Pascal ecosystem).
